The Delhi High Court Wednesday said he would hear on August 25, a number of petitions challenging the central agnipath scheme because they had not yet received files that were transferred here by the Supreme Court.
The High Court was told by lawyer General Tushar Mehta High Court on July 19 transferred all delayed requests before challenging the scheme.

The top court has also requested the Kela, Punjab and Haryana, Patna and Uttarakhand High Courts to move the Pils to the Agnipath scheme delayed before them to the Delhi High Court or still waiting until the decision of the Delhi High Court was sent, if the previous applicants wanted it.
On Wednesday, the Chairman of the Chief Justice of the High Court Delhi Satish Chandra Sharma and Judge Subramonium Prasad said that the petition transferred did not exist before that and the problem was registered to be heard after two weeks.
The court will hear this problem on August 25. The Agnipath scheme, announced on June 14, provided youth recruitment in defense forces between the ages of 17-middle and 21 for only four years with the provisions to maintain 25 percent of them for 15 more years.
Protests have erupted in several states immediately after the scheme was announced last month.
Then, the government extended the upper age limit to 23 years for recruitment under the scheme in 2022.
